Product Review: Diamond Halo Engagement Rings

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the “halo”,  halo diamond engagement ring
feature a unique style setting where a full border of small diamonds encircle the center stone.

… I am in love with it. I absolutely cannot get over how sparkly the halo melee is. The beauty of those tiny stones just blows me away. I have never seen such life in such small diamonds… I was always a little embarrassed by the previous setting. I guess because I saw imperfections I thought everyone else did. I am very analytical and once I found one thing wrong with the previous setting, I found more and more about it that bothered me. The poor sapphire just didn’t come to life in it. Brian said the sapphire talks now and he is right!! I will honestly tell you that I cannot find one thing wrong with this setting. I cannot wait to go to work now and show it off! People may get tired of me putting my hand in their face. The sapphire looks so much better now. I bought it because I loved the color. And now BGD brought it to life in a most beautiful and very complimentary setting. I told Brian that I knew the sapphire was not a symmetrical cut but I loved the color so much that I bought it. In the past, I could always find the corner that was ever so slightly “off”. Now, I cannot do that. I do not know what you did or how you did it but the sapphire looks perfectly shaped. I think it looks bigger in this setting for some reason. I suppose all the beautiful melee allows the color of the sapphire to “pop”. That may be an overused word but it applies in this case. There simply are not sufficient words to thank you for taking on this project and for the beautiful ring. I just knew in my heart that BGD would make the perfect ring and you did. I guess the best way to describe how I feel is that this sapphire ring now makes my face and heart smile… Alisha H.

…I just took a good look at Brian’s photos and really, all I can think to say is WOW! The size and proportion, the color of that blue, the halo setting, the diamonds, it all goes together so well. No one would ever know that we started with one half and added on the other. And my three rings…. yeah!!! I can’t wait to see it in person tomorrow. …The proposal went perfectly! I proposed to her on the beach at sunset and it was awesome. The halo ring has been a huge hit everywhere we go now! She constantly gets compliments on it and I am extremely happy with how great it turned out. I can’t tell you how many compliments she has gotten on it from complete strangers, it is great. I also had the ring appraised for insurance purposes, and the appraiser commented on what a terrific job the jeweler did on the re-cut of the diamond. He was the same appraiser that appraised the stone in its original setting and was very impressed with the new cut. Thanks again for being so patient with me throughout the process.
