Courtney Love’s Teddy Bear has been stolen
June 3, 2008
Kurt Cobain’s ashes have been stolen! At least, that’s what The News of the World claims anyway. Apparently Courtney Love keeps some of his ashes in a pink teddy bear along with a lock of his hair. A couple of weeks ago the teddy bear was stolen, and some clothing and mementos of the late rocker, including jewels have also disappeared. The widow has been known for taking the ashes with her everywhere, and she’s now very upset. Hopefully the thief will bring back the teddy bear with the ashes as this is such a personal belonging and does not have any value for anybody else.

Who is the biggest Teddy Bear in the world?
June 3, 2008
Teddy bear artist Dana Warren had the Guinness World record for biggest teddy bear in 2001. It was nearly 39 feet. Her record was broken when someone built a 51-foot bear. Warren, trying to reclaim the record, is building a new 55-foot bear.
Her mission is to inspire kids to think big.
The project is expected to last a week. The giant bear will remain on display at Exploration Place when it is finished. There is no cost to see the bear.
